Administrative Assistant - PART-TIME

Purpose: Perform a wide variety of receptionist and administrative activities at our 101 Olympic Way, St. Peters clinic setting location. Regularly interacts with clinic site manager, clinic co-workers, patients and various outside contacts to ensure the smooth and successful fulfillment of all administrative activities and communications in support of the overall business success of the clinic location. This position is budgeted at up to 20 hours per  week. Work days would be Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays with work hours anticipated to be 9am to 3pm. (some scheduling flexibility may be considered)

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: Minimum of two (2) years experience in an office setting handling a variety of clerical and administrative duties. Strong keyboarding skills. Excellent customer service skills. Strong verbal communication skills. Ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with all levels of personnel both inside and outside the organization. Must be self-directed, well organized and skilled at accomplishing work activities using discretion and good judgement. Familiarity with clinic practice management software preferred.

Orthotic Tech / Prosthetic Tech

Purpose: Works with Orthotists, Prosthetists, Pedorthotists and other medical professionals to create, customize and maintain orthotic and prosthetic devices to help patients ambulate effectively.

Qualifications: Associate degree in a subject related to prosthetics or orthotics. Alternatively, high school education or GED with work experience under the supervision of a certified practitioner in orthotics, prosthetics or both. A valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards set by Medcuro Manufacturing.

Experience:  At least one (1) year of experience in the construction and fitting of orthoses or protheses.

Orthotist / Pedorthotist / Prosthetist

Purpose: Addresses neuromuscular and structural skeletal problems in the human body with a treatment process that includes evaluation and transfer of forces using orthoses and protheses to achieve optimum functions, prevent further disability and provide improved appearance. The ORTHOTIS designs and fits devices, known as orthoses, to provide care to patients who have disabling conditions of the limbs and spine. The PROSTHETIST designs and fits devices, known as protheses, for patients who have partial or total absence of a limb.

Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate degree or certification program in Orthotics or Prosthetics. A valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards established by Medcuro Manufacturing.

Experience: At least two (2) years of experience in the design and fitting of orthoses or prostheses.
