Upper Extremity Orthotics
When it comes to upper extremity orthoses, our focus is to restore the full functionality of our patient’s upper limbs and enhance the performance of both the nervous and musculoskeletal systems.
Each orthotic is custom-made and fitted to guarantee it meets the complete comfort and efficiency. With our team at Medcuro, we’ll provide efficient orthotic solutions that bring the most out of upper extremity problems.
With 600 different orthosis options available for lower and upper extremity orthotics, we can manufacture a variety of different options to help improve the everyday lives of our patients. Together, we can help our patients move forward.
Shoulder Stabilizers
Shoulder stabilizers are designed to address problems with rotator cuff disorders, shoulder injuries, or any other soft tissue injury. By limiting the motion of the shoulder joint itself, shoulder stabilizers assist in the healing process for healthier tissues and joints. They are also recommended for other conditions such as sprains, strains, fractures, and post-operational care.
Arm Slings
Designed to prevent arm injuries from worsening, arm slings keep the position of the hand at a standstill so that any sudden movements from the arm do not worsen the injury.
Elbow Orthosis
With their combination of stability and mobility, elbow braces limit the amount of excessive movement by redistributing any pressure made on the elbow. Their secure stability makes them a vital solution for humeral fractures, dislocations, osteoarthritis, tendonitis, and other elbow related injuries.
Wrist Orthosis
A well-manufactured wrist orthotic helps wrist injuries heal faster thanks to their ability to provide sturdy support while working with everyday activities. It is recommended for cases of carpal tunnel syndrome, strains, tendonitis, or sprains.
Finger or Thumb Orthosis
When dealing with the effects of arthritis or finger deformities from other diseases, finger splints provide protection for everyday tasks. They keep the fingers straight and immobilized to ward off further damages protecting from fractures and dislocations.
