Upper Extremity Prosthetics

Medcuro offers complete upper extremity prosthetic solutions for our patient’s everyday needs. Our prosthetists work closely with our patients throughout the entire process to develop upper extremity prosthetics that aid in the tasks of everyday life.

Each of our practitioners has over 20 years of experience helping patients better their lives. The main goal when working with us is being able to restore complete mobility to the limbs and joints amputated with the help of our premium prosthetics. Together, we’ll help move our patients forward.

Also known as below the elbow prosthetics, these prostheses provide functionality for the area between the hand and elbow. Each one is designed to provide a replacement for the forearm, wrist, and hand.

Transradial Prosthesis

Also known as below the elbow prosthetics, these prostheses provide functionality for the area between the hand and elbow. Each one is designed to provide a replacement for the forearm, wrist, and hand.

Prosthetic Hands

Prosthetic hands are designed to be fully articulated and provide the exact dynamics of a hand. The Michaelangelo hand (pictured below) is the first prostheses to feature an electronically actuated thumb that mimics natural hand movements.

Transhumeral Prosthesis

Also known as above the elbow prosthetics, these prostheses bring service to the area at or above the elbow. They are designed to bring the full motion to the elbow and provide a complete grip for the hand.

At Medcuro, all of our facilities in the St. Louis and St. Charles areas are fully Accredited by the American Board for Certification. Not to mention that each of our staff is fully certified to help our patients get the most out of their everyday life.
